Harvey Maria is launching a number of new projects and designs this year to celebrate its milestone 30th anniversary. A brand new product collection, with exciting designer collaborations, will be launched in the Autumn where customers will be able to choose and order exclusive designs on luxury vinyl sheet, offering a truly unique floor. They’re also announcing exciting new developments in their trade and commercial services, including a brand new Custom Design Flooring hub, an up to date online trade experience and newly appointed UK retail team.

The British flooring brand is marking their 30th birthday this year to recognise their heritage, celebrate their present and look forward to the future. It all started in a small house in Battersea as an artisanal cork flooring company, which embraced creative London in the mid 90s. The unique floor tiles quickly established Harvey Maria’s reputation for individual and innovative design, with customers travelling to the house to collect their new floors. Their early floors captured the spirit of the time, regularly featuring on iconic TV shows such as the Big Breakfast, Big Brother and Changing Rooms.

Teaming up with some of Britain’s like-minded designers put Harvey Maria on the map – their collaboration with Cath Kidston, something of a 2000s zeitgeist, was a springboard for the brand and led to them working with John Lewis. Recently the brand has become known for their distinctive collections of heritage-inspired tiles, pushing the creative process to new limits by combining historical patterns with unique manufacturing processes.

Harvey Maria’s Founder Mark Findlay comments “While we’ve moved on a bit since those early days, we remain independent and passionate as ever about creating sustainable, fabulous floors for our customers. We have lots of exciting projects to mark our 30th year, including circling back to our origins, with the introduction of a new cork-based click flooring collection. Another exciting step forward in our story, with lots planned for the coming months!”
