Subfloor preparation is the key when installing all flooring, that is why we insist on using the best quality materials available when preparing subfloors, we can solve the problem of damp floors with the application of specially formulated liquid damp proof membranes, smooth out uneven floors using latex smoothing compounds, water based self levelling compounds over your concrete floor or fiber reinforced compounds over concrete or plywood sub floors. If your subfloor is wooden we can overlay it using treated hardboard or plywood to ensure a flatter, stronger and in some cases a safer subfloor. With advances in technology most types of flooring can now be fitted over underfloor heating with the correct preparation, this is ideal if you are looking to have Karndean, Amtico or Quick step lvt, luxury vinyl tiles installed over underfloor heating pipes or over an electric underfloor heating mat.
